Using Camera for Passenger Count
Challenge:
Continuous reporting to bus fleet manager on the count of passengers in the bus real time
Solution:
Used a stereo camera and microcontroller with a computer vision algorithm to accurately do head count and communicate to a database and the fleet manager
Benefits:
Prevent frauds in ticket collection.
